Mayday
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.
Mayday Playgroup were last inspected in November 2014.
Some comments from the inspection report:
Staff establish positive relationships with children and get to know them as individuals.
Children have positive well-being and self-esteem, and show a good sense of
belonging.
Staff keep parents fully informed of their children's learning. They share children's
achievements daily and encourage parents to add to their learning records.
Children are confident to communicate and share their ideas. Staff support children to
develop good listening and speaking skills, such as asking challenging questions.
Children have good opportunities to explore and investigate the natural world. For
example, they make bird feeders and enjoy watching the birds visit the garden to feed.
